About us

Our main functions are as follows:

To act as a principal enforcement agency under the Smoking (Public Health) Ordinance (Cap. 371) and Fixed Penalty (Smoking Offences) Ordinance (Cap. 600)
To enforce the Import and Export Ordinance (Cap.60) specific to the import of alternative smoking products
To promote smoke-free culture and enhance compliance with relevant ordinance through publicity and health education
To coordinate and provide smoking cessation services
To assist the Health Bureau in reviewing tobacco control legislation
To enforce the Dutiable Commodities (Liquor) Regulations (Cap.109B) Part 5 which prohibits the sale or supply of intoxicating liquor to minors in the course of business
